Results from Friday’s sold-out Thompson Boxing show in Ontario, Calif.

In Friday night’s scheduled 10 round Main Event, Danny “The Baby-Faced Assassin” Roman from Garden Grove, Calif. won his 10th straight victory by stopping Ramiro “Zurdo” Robles of Guanajuato, Mexico in the ninth round. With the win, Roman improves his record to (18-2-1, 6 KOs) while Robles drops to (12-5-1, 7 KOs).

On Friday night, Daniel “The Baby-Faced Assassin” Roman from Garden Grove, Calif. won his 10th straight victory by stopping Ramiro “Zurdo” Robles.
In a super bantamweight match between two former USA Amateurs from our local LBC 44 CAL Border, it was Fernando Fuentes earning an unanimous decision over San Diego’s Jorge “Tito” Ruiz. All three judges, David Denkin, Fernando Villareal and Zac Young scored the bout the same 59-55 to give Fuentes every round but one. With the decisive win, Fuentes improves to 7-6, 1 KO while Ruiz drops to 9-3, 2 KOs.
In the scheduled 6-round Co-feature, the 35 year-old LaRon Mitchell of San Francisco put his opponent away by the 1:18 mark of round one. With the easy win, Mitchell improved his record to (11-0-0, 11 KOs) while his 31 year-old opponent, Juan Manuel Dominguez Silva of Tijuana, Mexico dropped to (6-3, 3 KOs).
Super middleweight 25 year-old, 5’11” Rudy “The Revelation” Puga improved his record to (7-0-1 ND, 6 KOs) with his second round stoppage of Alejandro Osuna from Jalisco, Mexico who now drops to (4-2, 2 KOs).
In a super welterweight clash, 29 year-old Miguel Trejo of Los Angeles made quick work of 24 year-old, Thomas Earl “Hitman” Howard of Miami, Florida by way of Southgate, Michigan. The fight was stopped at the 2:28 mark of round one. With the win, Trejo improved to (4-0, 3 KOs) while Howard lost his sixth straight fight, fourth straight by knockout, to drop to (8-7, 4 KOs).

Super bantamweight, 20 year-old Jhordy Ramirez improved his record to (2-0, 1 KO) with an unanimous decision victory over 19 year-old Juan Carlos Diaz of Phoenix, Arizona who now drops to (0-2).
