WCK Muaythai delivers another exciting show at the Four Points By Sheraton

Without a doubt, Bout #7 between Manuel Medina (c), shown here wearing the IAMTF Full Rules Muay Thai Title belt, and his opponent Jake Ramirez had to be one of the most explosive ever. As a result, everyone wanted to be in the photo with the new champ to include his coaches, WCK Muaythai official Sarinda Chaney, WCK Muay Thai CEO Dennis Warner, teammate Chris Kirk, announcer Chris Gregory plus the two youngsters upfront.

From Bout #1 thru Bout #13, the packed house at the Four Points By Sheraton Hotel in San Diego was totally invested in the non-stop action which featured one amazing performance after another in a show rightly named, “Hot Summer Fights”.

In Bout #1 it was Ryan Pauley battling Haneef Agabu to a Majority Draw in their IAMTF FULL RULES MUAY THAI LIGHT CRUISERWEIGHT fight.

In Bout #2Mauricio Villarreal lost by a unanimous decision to Daemien Obeso in their IAMTF FULL RULES MUAY THAI MIDDLEWEIGHT fight. In round one, Pauley

In Bout #3Luis Fernando Medina, making his debut, lost to the much taller gentleman Deonco Williams in their IAMTF MODIFIED MUAY THAI LIGHT CRUISERWEIGHT match after being disqualified for use of an illegal tactic that of twice picking his opponent up off his feet and twice trying to throw him back down on the canvas. He must be watching far too many World Wrestling Federation matches.

In Bout #4Andrew Dominguez gets the TKO victory in Round-3 over Steve Pak in their IAMTF FULL RULES MUAY THAI LIGHTWEIGHT fight.

In Bout #5Aaron Luellen wins after a 1st round TKO of Zev Powell in their IAMTF FULL RULES MUAY THAI SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT fight.

In Bout #6Zoarel Fuentes won a Unanimous Decision victory over Rebecca Andrew in their IAMTF WOMENS FULL RULES MUAY THAI SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT fight.

In Bout #7, we saw Manuel Medina of Team Parusa (San Diego) doing his best impression of Keenu Reeves or should we say John Wick, winning a Unanimous Decision victory over the extremely tough Jake Ramirez of Van Nuys, Calif. in their IAMTF FULL RULES MUAY THAI CALIFORNIA SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE fight. This match was nothing less than spectacular. Like Wick, Medina overcame stiff odds to come out victorious.

After being kicked in the privates, Medina somehow weathered the pain to edge out Ramirez in round one. In round two after getting nailed by a punch early and needing some more time to recover, Medina rebounded with a knockdown and unanswered blows to Ramirez’s head. After an extremely close round three, Medina was masterful right up until the final bell. Could that smirk on his face portend of even better things ahead?

In this photo provided by Richard De La Cruz, we see Manuel Medina having his arm raised in victory by veteran referee Bam Bam Snell at the conclusion of Fight #7.

That earlier discomfort was forgotten once the championship belt was placed around his waist.

In Bout #8Jordan Huber lost to Robert Hernandez by a unanimous decision in Huber’s IKF WORLD FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE DEFENSE.

In Bout #9Francisco Garcia lost by a unanimous decision to David Pacheco in their third WCK FULL RULES MUAYTHAI PRO MIDDLEWEIGHT fight.

In Bout #10Hussein Elsadek lost by split decision to Maximiliano Cruz in their IAMTF FULL RULES MUAY THAI LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHT fight.
