MMA & Muay Thai updated schedule

This memorable photo of the legendary Nogueira brothers (l to r) Antônio Rodrigo and twin brother Antônio Rogério Nogueira, nicknames “Minotauro”, and “Minotouro” was taken with one of their MMA classes at the Black House Team Nogueira Gym when it was located on Miramar Road (2010-2016) across the street from the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California.

MMA and Muay Thai upcoming competitions are updated on a regular basis with an emphasis given to those events involving local fighters, local gyms or a show or event held within the confines of either San Diego County, Imperial County or Tijuana.

UFC 234

How about this match-up? Rising star Israel Adesanya is set to face former middleweight champ Anderson Silva at UFC 234. UFC announced the 185-pound match on November 24th. UFC 234 will take place at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia, on February 9, 2019. Adesanya established himself as one of the sport’s up-and-coming super stars by compiling a 15-0 professional record which includes a first-round TKO victory over Derek Brunson in his last outing at UFC 230. Meanwhile, Silva is returning from his one-year USADA suspension after failing a drug test ahead of a proposed bout with Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Night 122. The 43-year-old hasn’t competed since February, 2017, when he ended a five-bout winless streak with a disputed decision victory over Brunson at UFC 208. UFC also has plans to feature the middleweight championship between Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum.
