Garcia’s victory put him on the list of world’s Top 5 lightweights

With his power and lightning fast hand speed Ryan Garcia once again unloads another one of his lethal bombs on the often defenseless Luke “Cool-hand” Campbell.
Then came that moment of carelessness and it was Ryan Garcia getting clocked by Luke Campbell’s left hook that had Garcia taking a seat on the canvas.
With a sense of urgency, back came “King Ryan” to return the favor in Round #7, sending his opponent down for the count after this well placed body shot.
After their Battle Royale, good sport Luke Campbell, the 33-year-old, 5’9″ tall, southpaw from Hessle, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, was quite benevolent as he acknowledged Garcia’s victory.
The jubilant Ryan Garcia was soon joined by his loyal team of supporters: Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, head trainer Eddy Reynoso, boxing great Bernard Hopkins plus promoter Oscar De La Hoya.
(top) After having his arm was raised in victory by veteran referee Laurence Cole, the 22-year-old Ryan “King Ryan” Garcia of Los Angeles, Calif. (now 21-0, 18 KOs) is joined by his illustrious support group which includes (l to r) Golden Boy Promotions’ President Eric Gomez, Promotions partner Bernard Hopkins, and finally their CEO plus Chairman of the Board Oscar DeLaHoya.

In mid-March of 2021, when asked about Golden Boy’s upcoming plans for King Ryan, Oscar De LaHoya mentioned they are currently working on this Three Fight World Tour deal with DAZN. This new development may have been Oscar De La Hoya’s reaction to Canelo Alvarez’s press release stating: At present, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom is the best promoter in Boxing.
At this point, might Ryan Garcia be sitting on top of the world?
